Re: William Walter Gill (1877-1964) Folklorist, Au

My Grandfather Thomas William Gill was born in Peel circa 1874 and would be contempory of Walter William. He was from a fishing family although
he didnt go to the fishing but became a joiner. He worked 'across'
for most of his life, but retired to Port Erin in 1939 where he died
in,I think, the late 1940's. I am new to this E mail thing and am
trying to gather some information to pass on to my children. Perhaps
you have some 'Gill' contacts that I may use. Hope I'm not being a
nuisance. regds John Davies ( you'll gather from my name that the
other side of my family are also celts0.
