Pat guess you know about Palmer the poisoner connection (see High Bailiff Laughton's reminiscences) and connection with Palmer family in Peel (I think they were also printers and thus Cubbon's bibliography vol II will generally have a short biography

There is also a Charles Palmer who ran Oddfellows' Inn on North Quay from 1845'sh - any info re him welcome so can add to my pubs pages
