Re: Bridson-reply to Michael

Margaret - There are two Orrisdales, three in fact although one has faded from the records. Historically, they have been spelt Aristal,Oristal,Oristle,Eristole
The more famous is in KK Michael, a village. My ancestors farmed Orrisdale in KK Malew for 150/200 years.

Feltham, has you have seen, when speaking of KK Malew says he was entertained by the Crellins at Orrisdale. He says that Mr Crellin was Deemster for the northern district. It struck me as odd that the Deemster for the north was living in the south and I thought F. might be mixing up his Orrisdales.

Your notice about about a Crellin married to a Bridson made wonder if my doubts about Feltham were ill founded.

Does this make some sort of sense? Michael .
