In searching my family tree I have come across a few references for a James Cuffe who lived in county Mayo and also a Colonel Cuffe who lived again in county Mayo. These may have been the same individual, I do not know. The only other bit of information I have is that the colonel leased or bought a sect of land from the seat of Tyrawley. They lived as far as I can ascertain in the 1800's. Sorry my info is so vague, I hope it is of some use.
