Does anyone know what happened to the three sons of Dr Edward Smith GRAHAM and his wife Eliza Oliver [nee BIGG], who lived at 9 Strathallan Cresc., Douglas during the mid-1800s?
Edward Smith Graham [army surgeon] retired ill from the army to the Isle of Man in 1846, and died there on 21 Nov.1847 leaving his widow and "three boys under 5 years of age".
These three boys were:
Edward Girdlestone Graham b.10 May 1843 St Sidwell, Essex, England;
Oliver Graham b.20 Oct.1844 Ipswich, England;
Lional Frederick Graham b.13 Aug.1847 Douglas, Isle of Man.
All are in the 1851 census at the above address, and all are named in their mother's 1876 will, where she is recorded as residing in the Isle of Man. No addresses are given for the sons.
Many thanks if anyone can help locate these sons.
Sue
