It would be the White Hoe - my mother spent some time there as a child. I think she had scarlet fever - she was in isolation and her parents were only able to speak to her through a glass partition. Any books or toys she took in with her were burnt when she left to go home. That was probably in the early 1920s. I'm not sure what happened to the records when the White Hoe closed. Its possible they could be in the new Government archives or the Museum Library if indeed they were saved. I'll try to find out.
