I am trying to find the history of John Crye father of william Crye born 1860 in the isle of mann we believe. William was married to my ggrandmother we have his marriage certificate and death certificate. He claims to have come from the isle of mann then moved to the states. I can find no birth origins in england or the states so i feel he was born in the isle of mann. if anyone can enlighten me i would be grateful
