I'd love to see what you have on the Downwards - it's my mother's maiden name. William and Jane Downward did stay in the IOM. One of their daughter's married and moved to England with a daughter of her's going on to Australia. A son of William and Jane moved to South Africa and descendents of his are now in South Africa, England, New Zealand and the US. I can fill you in on a lot more if you want to talk "off-line".
