(Mac)Curry is an old Manx name - many mentions in 1511 manorial roll but can't find any of the others in my website (doesnt mean they were not on the Island but does mean they cant have been numerous or played much of a role - my victorian directories generally manage to find all names active post 1840)

I'm not sure Gourley would derive from Curry (I can believe the Gurry but havnt seen this name)
