I am writting to you about some ancient neighbours of that Island, the Radcliffe.
I know they settled there some centuries ago.
Simon Tomas Radcliffe whose perents were: and Joan Brew, in his youth had come to Argentina with many dreams and a great expectation. He was working at a Company Railway. In about 1900 he married with Angela Canepa and they had five sons: Robert, Henry, Joseph Williams, John Washington and Felicidad. Two of them died young and the others grew up in Argentina, got married here and their sons are living in this country and I am one of them.
My grandmother knows about the name and address of some membres of the family and I think she had excanged mail with some of them, but now grandma is dead and we havenot kept any papers.
My family and I would be grateful if you could send us some information. We are very interested to know about our ancestor.
Yours faithfully.
José G. Radcliffe
