My family lived at 2 Albert Terrace and there were music books belonging
to the the Hirschfeld family in the attics. The family probably moved to
the island from Scotland. There was a copy of Robert Burns poems set to music
by Pleyadel, commissioned and signed by Margaret McCall & James Moir
printer, which we gave to Herriot Watts Burns Society during Yn Chruinnaght
1970's. The house may well have been used as a music school as a large
upstairs room had been converted into a music and dance room, with
three long mirrors and exercise bars. Hope this helps. Marie Radcliffe
