world war 1-refugees at Isle of Man

Tree and history of the family Dupont

Before 1914 the grandfather of my wife got a factory of brushes and got a very good business with Great Britain. All the money he earned in England was placed in a British bank. When the world war 1 began he and his family went to England. To my knowledge all the non British were sent to the Isle of Man. My grandfather in love became the responsible of these refugees. We found some photographs explaining the wealthy live they got there.
I believe that the punctuality of the British government has made a lot of history papers of that period. As a genealogist I am really very interested in knowing more of that life and duty on the Isle of Man. Please can somebody inform me how and where can I find more details.

My grandfathers name : Achille Felix Marie Dupont
His wife : Philomena Elisa Colpaert
The children :1) Pierre 2) Fernand 3)Leslie 4)Albert
