Philip Allen, some time ago you asked about a Catherine Creetch who married JOUGHIN in 1770 in Maughold, but you didn't know her date of birth?
I recently saw a copy of the will of Hugh Creetch who died 30 Dec.1771 in Maughold. This named his sons Hugh and Robert, and his daughters Mary, Margaret, and Cathren. Cathren was recorded as the wife of William JOUGHIN. Her father Hugh Creetch was married to Margaret CASHIN in Maughold 14 Oct.1740, and Cath. b.1747. Margaret died 26 May 1771.
Hugh Cree[t]ch was the son of Robert Cree[t]ch [d.5 Jan.1727/8] and Cathrett TAGGART.
