Any information welcome re Louis Henry Cowell, my grandfather born IoM 1871,marriage certificate 17th April 1897 states his father as William Cowell,deceased, a brewer. Louis was illigitimate and I believe may have used his mothers maiden name,Cowell, it could also be that William Cowell was his grandfather and not his father.
