Hi been a long while since I’ve be here but come back as confused about schools, my late dad George Cain 26/12/1921 was fostered by the crennell family in 1926 as his mother left him at poor house after given birth to him , he was entered into st Thomas school by Edith crennell his guardian in sept 1927 , I have a. e mail I found from the school from To confirm, I also have one from secretary of Fairfield school saying they have him registered in by the same person in 1934 but he left on December 19th 1935 reason given he was over the age,, but I’m told Fairfield was a all girls school and Demence road school does not have him registered so I’m confused as to how a school can find him in what they say is a girls school, any idea where I go from here please, and also who holds records for Hanover school
