Thank you to JC for posting a link to Probate records for the Archdeaconry Court on family search. I hadn't realised they were there. I know that there are many wills that have been transcribed, many thanks to the late Bryan Lawson. But I wonder if anyone has ever indexed the films the probate records are on? I am guessing that family search will put that in the list of projects for indexing at some stage, but not sure how to encourage them to do it sooner rather than later. I would be happy to index some, but it would likely be a big job to organise doing it outside of the family search framework.
