On the marriage record of my 4 x great grandparents who were married in German, 2 Sept 1782. The witness was stated to be, Thomas Mylevorrey then underneath his name is a phrase i cant make out, I've included it above
It looks like
Ju?? of the Dre?mah
Can anyone translate this and give a meaning. It comes up on Thomas's own marriage certificate to Ellinor Shimmin, Again in German on the 14th December, 1782 on This one the wording looks like
Juror of the Driney???
He is also on a certificate underneath his own married record for a Thomas Sayle and Elizabeth Crellin as a witness to their marriage with the same description under his name.
Thanks for any assistance in advance. Hoping there is a family connection between my Ann Mylevorry and Thomas, yet to be determined.
Sue
