my cd has summaries of many deeds - + an index to all - some are now digitised online - see www.manxnotebook.com + www.imuseum.im - the research into payments + appointments in late 18th C would probably need personal research at Museum - however it might be worthwhile checking on the Atholl papers (some description on manxnotebook) but the handlist/index to these was being redone a year or so ago with intent to be online
