further search indicates that Nathaniel mortgaged some land by a deed which went through the courts in 1842 - NSM Oct 1842 1 - unfortunately I'm off Island and hadn't reached this date in my work on deeds so it will need some personal research at Manx Museum tho I suspect having just married he is in need of money;

The plot he bought is on tithe plan 140 of Kk Michael (needs personal search Manx Museum) but was only 37 perches (just less than a quarter acre thus strongly suggesting he built a house on it)

However Nathaniel was a witness at the marriage of Samuel Moore (noted of Kirk Michael) + Jane Gawne at Ballaugh 22 Jun 1839 - Samuel was I think the illeg son of Wm Moore + Jane [no name in reg] bapt Santan 10 Aug 1806 and in 1851 noted as born Ireland - was he a brother?
