I am interested in any information on the Allen family that were Vicars on the Isle of Man in the 1600s and 1700s. in 'Manx Families', A.W. Moore,MS 1889. It states that there were still family members on the island which I assume would mean 1899 when the book was published. I am interested to see if there is a family link to a Dr. James Siliman Allen who was believed to be born in co Antrim, Ireland in 1795. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
