Here repose the remains of John Cottier of Ballacottier
in the parish of kk Bride who departed this life on the
8th day of February in the year 1823 in 84th year of
his age
also the remains of John the son of John and Catherine
Cottier who departed this life on the 7th of April 1847
in the 64th year of his age
Mark the perfect man and behold the might
for the end of that man is peace.

Thomas' mother Catherine Callow Cottier is buried in Holt Co, Missouri.
