I suspect Wm is son of Thomas Gawn + Margt Corris - living at Raby Beg in 1841 - Wm + Ann also noted at Raby Beg in 1841 - their first child James (possibly named after this Wm's brother) died early 1841 - looks as tho their next children died of smallpox in 1850 as sons of Wm Ballakerkey wch is near Glen Maye - can't find them in 1851 census
