He can be found in 1881 census as a 16yr old Tobacco spinner with widowed mother (a charwoman) and siblings in a multi-occupancy house at 13 St Barnabas sq
Parents are Wm Joseph Bridsson + Mary Ann Skillicorn (age 36 + born Douglas in 1881 c)

The decd father is probably the Wm Bridson buried braddan on 19 Aug 1875 age 40

Mary Ann is more difficult to match - there is an age + name match with a dau of Robert Skillicorn farmer in Lezayre but I dont think that is her - I can't find a match in the 1861 census which makes me think she may have docked 10 yrs of her age (or her arithmetic is poor) and is the Douglas born 14yr Mary Ann Skillicorn found as a servant in 1851 census at 3 King St who is I think the d/o Philip Skillicorn + Margt Cowin(born Lonan) - Philip was a sailor + Margt was widowed by 1851
