simple answer is yes eg in the 1918 Roll of Honour Private Nelson Corteen from maugholdmissing 1917 is noted as of that regiment as was 2nd Lt F B Leece son of Rev C H Leece vicar of Rushen in 1916 .
However around that time with the huge losses on the western front men were transferred between regiments to replenish losses.
