I just came across your search question, and happens to be my Morrison side. Robert Morrison is my 3x great grandfather John Morrison's brother.
Robert Patrick Morrison (1831-1866) married Margaret Ann Christian (1837-) in Andreas 9 Oct 1858; they were living with John Morrison (1789-1877) and Margaret Fargher (1794-1870), in Balla Cottier, Andreas in 1861 census. They had 5 children:
John Robert Morrison b. 1859-1879
Margaret Anne Morrison b. 1860-1952
Esther Morrison 1862-1867
George Thomas Morrison 1865
Frederick William 1867-1870

Margaret Ann Morrison married John Thomas Kennaugh (1861-1912) on 16 Dec 1882 in Lonan, IOM. They had 6 Children all born in Lonan:
John Thos Kennaugh 1886-1964
Robert Hugh 1890-1918
Margaret Elizabeth 1892-1981
William Fredrk 1895-1979
Florence 1898-1988
George Ronald 1900-
In 1901, Margaret Ann Morrison and John Thomas Kennaugh and family immigrated to the US, where they settled in Montana. When John Thos died in 1912, Margaret remarried William Tripp and moved to Washington (state) where she passed away in 1952.
