I am trying to find information about Rebekah Quine who married Robert Nugent. They are both recorded as being born in Ireland and I believe were married in Co. Down around 1822 before moving to IOM where they appear on the 1841 census along with other members of the Quine family. I know there are no records available for that period but wondered if anyone had any historical knowledge of perhaps trade links between and if so what trade would it have been other than fishing. I have been unable to trace the other members of the Quine family (1841 group) being born in Ireland. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.
