the Mc prefix had long since disappeared from Manx names - suspect you are looking at a Scot in Gilbert (his + his wife's wills also keep the McKissage as do refs to sons Jon, Ross(prisoner in France in 1811)] tho the name would all too easily assimilate into the Manx name - I never found a marriage - 1st child bapt Kk patrick but others in several parishes - no property transfers in his name
