Hello,
My name is Thomas Nilsen from Stavanger, Norway and I can see from my Y- DNA test that the only one I can find that I get a match on is 2 Killips from Isle of Man. This of course must be very far back- from 15-30 generations ago.
I have traced my grandmother's line back to 980 in Denmark, but paternal line only to 1700s in eastern Norway.
So this hit it might be all the way back to Viking times.
I saw on this forum discussing Killip many years ago, and I just wondered if there is anyone who has been researching the Killip family on the isle of man extensively and who can provide me clues to our connection?
