As far as I know, there's only been two Gellings who have contributed to John Creers Manx Y-DNA project. I am one and Geoff Gelling from the Malew side is the other. We're both from the edges of the Gelling tree, on opposite sides, but John was able to determine amazing results on how we originate, with connections centuries ago to Ireland and Northumberland.

But we need at least one more from a different branch of Gelling, especially from the larger groups. This would go a long way to making this study successful. It must be a male Gelling, as it is a pure male-male-male Y-test.
