My friend Shirley Hogenson did some research on a possible John Colvin line some yrs ago and I found it in my database. John was ch 19 May 1799 German son of John Colvin 1766-1803 German & Ann Quayle 1767-? Michael md 1797 Michael. That John was s/o Arthur Colvin & Mary Mylevoirey md 1759 German.

!The last will and testament of Arthur Colvin of Peeltown who departed
this life the 14th of Nov 1787 being of sound mind and memory at the
uttering hereof.
First He commited his soul to Almighty God and his body to Christian
burial.
Secondly He left and bequeathed to his loving wife Mary Colvin als
Morrison the little house and the house called by the name of Toltan and
the half of the garden and all the rest of his goods moveable and
immoveable.
Lastly He nominated constituted and appointed his loving wife Mary
Colvin alias Morrison whole and sole executrix of all the rest of his
effects moveable and immoveable of what nature soever with six pence
legacy to his son Arthur that went to Sea and likewise to his son
Thomas and his son John and daughter Easter six pence each.

At a Chapter Court holden at KK Patrick Oct 17th 1788.
The executrix is sworn in court in form of law and hath given pledges for
the payment of debts and legacies namely John Colvin her son, Thomas

At a Chapter Court holden in St Johns Chapel on the 3rd Day of June
1803. John Colvin of the parish of KK German having departed this life
on or about the 1st day of the month of February last past intestate and
the court having received intelligence thereof hath decreed his four
children namely John, Matthais, Joseph, and Mary Colvin
coadministrators of all and singular his goods rights credits chattles
and effects movable and immoveable whatever and they being under age,
Thomas Colvin and William Quayle their uncles by their father and
mother's side are by consent of their mother sworn their guardians and
supervisors and in trust for them well and truly two administer the
estate of the said intestate so far forth as his goods and effects will
extend and the law bind them and two render a just account of their said
administration when there unto lawfully required and two these ends
they have given pledges in form of law namely James Cowle of
Ballaquane in the parish of KK German Esquire and Wm Cannell of
Peeltown shoemaker.
