Many thanks for that - to be honest I have already tried that and many similar looking records but despite the odd possible name or date there is just no way of linking people up and proving who they are. I have been battering this brick wall for some years now - just thought I'd make a final stab via the Isle of Man to see if a tiny link might appear.
