found the pages in Lt Govr Ready's letter book (ie copies of letters sent to London) re transportation of 2 female convicts - Sarah Lynchy + Esther Caley were to be transported - acc by 3 children but none named in letter book tho states named in margin (?only on letter sent to London which will be in UK National archives ) + copy of a recept for their delivery + the costs of their transfer - they arrived on 3 Apr 1835 at a cost of £31 9d to John Chesterman (chief constable who took them) - in a previous case the cost was broken down as £21 6s 6d coach hire + 13days travelling for Chesterman at 10s per diem - no detail costing for Sarah tho
