My 3rd great grandmother, Catherine Kermeen, was born in Maughold on July 4, 1829 to James Kermeen and Mary Kinrade Kermeen. I know that she was one of 8 children and I think I've found four of the eight. Catherine removed to Galva, Illinois in about 1850. I believe that 3 of her siblings also ended up in the U.S. and these are the ones that I think I've found. Just trying to verify this family and also find out if James and Mary stayed in the IOM or if they also came to the U.S. Any help is appreciated!
