My 14th grandfather was Thomas MacGhilhast who started the Lace family line in Bride.He was a relative possibly brother of John MacGhilhast who was the father of another John whose daughter Christian married John Standish. They came from Ballavoddan originally and i am researching the Laces/MacGhilhasts from Ballavoddan. Does anyone have any information.
