Thanks, Jean. I am unable to find a record of a Mira/Moira Cain/Kneen death. Can you assist with this? As George married in Australia as a widower in 1882 I would guess she passed before this. Don't know if proof of marital status would be required at that time.
Also to rule out the Kneers (rather than the Kneens) are you aware of a family with John Kneer as father of a George Kneer born on the Isle of Man?
