I have found that four boats owned by IOM Fisheries were requisitioned by Royal Navt and taken to Liverpool. My Uncle Levi was skipper for a while, then he returned to the Island to fish again.
The four boats were "Manx Lad", "Manx Lass", "Manx Beauty", and "Manx Fairy".The "Manx Lad " was sunk-mined- while assisting another ship that had been mined.
