James wife Ann Maria (Hannah) died June 7, 1904 , age 59 on one notice and 61 on another !!

Seems Jame first voyage was ex Liverpool October 23, 1853 on the "Birmingham" arriving Melbourne Jan 2, 1854, aged 22.

The Crimean War was from October 1853 to March 1856, so between coming to Melbourne , returning to the Isle of Man , marrying in 1855 , when did he have time ?

I checked the list of IOM Immigrants to Aus , can't find others on the two ships James came to Melbourne. There are 27 Clagues, no Cleggs. Do you have that list , if not I can email you the list , I have your address , unless you have changed
