Dear Frances and Karen, Thank you so much for your help.
Eleanor Kelly, christened German August 1772 is in my Line. She is the eldest child of Jane Crellin and Thomas Kelly who married German, November 1769. Poor Jane appears to have been regularly pregnant, and had several children, baptised every 18 months to two years. Some of which are mentioned in her Will 1806. I have transcribed this from my last visit home.
Both Eleanor and Thomas Kewley make debt claims in her Will, so I know I've got the correct family. Ahab Sayle is also owed 10/6.
Now I have to find her parents and Thomas's family. His will likely be difficult. I am working through the Crellin Wills, and need to start on property. I am very interested in the 'Bridge House'. I assume this is the house at Ballig that Eleanor Kewley
made a deed of settlement (November 1847) over for her own daughter, Ann Clague when she was widowed at a young age, and left with several Clague children. In Jane Crellins 1806 Will she leaves 'one half of her moiety of the Bridge house where William Minchester's (?) wife lives'. In 1897 John Clague morgages the property, but manages to pay the debt off.
