Another Margaret HOWLAND

Has anyone come across the father of Margaret HOWLAND of Bride, daughter of Isabel Howland als Cotter (will 1696 Bride) and unknown father?

In her will Isabel mentions her daughter in law Jony Howlan, son William Howlan, as well as her son in law Richard Christian, and her granddaughter Mally Christian. She also mentioned her son in law's "contraction Bargain" which I was unable to find in Bride or Andreas.

Margaret married Richard CHRISTIAN of Andreas during the gap in the Andreas parish register [between 1686 and 1704], during which their children were probably born.

Andreas parish register, Confirmations:
“Richard Christian’s wife Margret BallaCurry” confirmed 2 Nov.1718.

The family were recorded as living in Balla Curry or Ballacoary, Andreas, although some grandchildren were bapt in Bride.

In the marriage contract for their grandson Richard also mentioned were “their two Crofts and their right in Laggagh vollaugh with half of their Houses haggard & Garden in present possession….& half of their field called the Magher moar”.

Margaret CHRISTIAN als HOWLAND died & buried Andreas 10 Feb.1719/20 [will].

I tried numerous wills years ago, but didn't find Isabel's husband.

Thanks,
Sue
