Hello Col

I was wrong about the State of NSW dropping the length of time someone had lived in the State or Colony.

My wife's great Grandmother Elizabeth Pyke , died 18/4/1855 aged 86 , shows "where born and how long in the Australasian Colonies or States" , Elizabeth was Staffirdshire, UK and 74 years.
"Australasian Colonies" including New Zealand , as NZ was for a short time part of the Colony of New South Wales.
By 12/1/1966 , when my own father passed away it had been changed to POB and Length of residence in Australia. His POB Dundee, Scotland and 45 years.
