the ref came from Quayle's Precedents + also the old deeds section of the index to deeds (wch derives from that source I think) - however I didn't find the contract in my look thru Lib canc (these early refs were to the book prior to an early 19th century rebinding - often the pages and the page is not quite in same position as not all pages were numbered are not readily readable and I've put many on the 'back burner' for when I'm in the mood to make slow progress - they may be on mormon microfilm
