the usual approach used by 99.9% of posters is to place a message rather than a mere title on the board (the M/B is not twitter and allows reasonable length of postings) - this allows other readers to judge if they can reply - also I'd strongly suggest you use the preview button rather than the post so you can see how others will see your posting , when happy then use the post button to place it on the board- if when you post to the board you give an email address you will get an email when someone responds to you (there is no point in replying to that email as any responses go nowhere but you can then reply on board.
