Thank you for this. I've downloaded the OS Town Plan 1:500 Ist Edition sheets for Douglas and found Wellington Buildings clearly marked, together with New Bond Street, not far away as you indicated. The Census entry for the large household containing Bentley Milne appeared from the Census return to be next door to the Ramsey Inn so that narrows it down even further. Seeing the geography adds greatly to the enjoyment of tracing ancestors.
