My Great-Grandfather Ernest M Kissack (1873-1942) was part of the Canadian Home Children program. In one of his records it mentioned he corresponded with the Douglas Industrial home and that the correspondence could be found at the Manx National Heritage Library and Archives. Unfortunately, after trying to correspond with them via email, I received an auto-response stating they don't take genealogy requests. My next step is to join the IOMFHS - does anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks in advance, John Kissack
