Maybe I was just being dim, but for anyone else perplexed by this, I think it’s clearer as: “She is mentioned as the goddaughter of my great aunt, Johanna Magdalene Peterson Yeoman.”

I’ve just found a date for the marriage of the Margaret Clegg referred to in my last message, and it was January 1939. So if the will was written after 1938, it won’t be the Margaret Clegg you’re looking for.
