I am so sad to read the continuing story of poor Brian's wonderful work, which could have been such a fantastic legacy to all researching their Manx families. Years ago someone suggested putting the whole thing onto discs that could have been made available for sale like Frances' brilliant Manx Notebook CD - even to raise money for the IOMFHS - and it's a great shame this wasn't done before the peerless resource started to disintegrate. I would never have got so far with my family tree ten years ago if it hadn't been for Brian's easily accessible website. How sad all that information is no longer obviously available.
