I am trying to index all the names in the 1417/8 Sheading Roll, and provide a Concordance between the various partial transcripts, extracts, translations etc but it seems that the Roll of which copies were produced in 1877 in London at Society of Antiquaries has disappeared although it was referenced in the 18th c by the Quayles in their book of precedents so was an official record then. It does not seem to be included in the scan which I have access to which is what is now in the MNH Library. It is possible that the 1877 exhibit has circulated in/on the open market?
Any ideas?
