I just googled Samuel De Meza and found a site "Joods Amsterdam" written in Dutch language but translation available , it is difficult to read in English, as it appears only part translated , but it is about the part that Amsterdam Jews played in Brazil and Suriname.
Part reads " Sara Meza is married to Bernard Emanuel , she is the daughter of Samuel David De Meza and Deborah d'Fonseca , she inherited the slaves from her father" Appears she was in Suriname.
