Thanks, Frances. After reading John Quine's biography I can see that the credibility of his information must be suspect. Too bad ... I was hopeful, based in part on Y-DNA evidence that a Kewley and I share at least 800 years of divergent ancestry since a common SNP who presumably was a Manxman.
