since I was in Museum today I called out the Bishop's transcripts for 1760-1765 - there was only one marriage in Ramsey Chapel during this period - John Sayle + Elizabeth Wattleworth (spinster) - both of town of Ramsey & parish of Maughold married in this chapel 20 March 1764 by special licence by John Crellin Chaplain witnesses Edward Allen Merchanchan and John Kneen cooper
